Globe Syle Vaporizers
Some of the earliest vaporizers were the hot pit variety using a glass globe to capture the vapor. Below is a typical heating element. The ground material is placed in the metal heating element shown.
The globe is placed over the material and the heating element, the globe then catches the vapor. The vapor is most often drawn off through a rubber hose.
With a new device, It is advisable to turn the heating element up to high for at least 20 minutes to allow it to burn off any manufacturing residuals. A rubber hose meant for medical use will ensure that no petroleum leachates are entering the vapor prior to inhalation.
